The Mardi Himal Trek is another newly explored hidden treasure of the Annapurna Region. The tranquil route ways lead us to one of the best destination to view the Annapurna Region. The view of Amazing Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre and Manaslu ranges are spectacular. Some of the major attractions are Mardi Himal Base Camp, Jhinu Hot Spring & Ghandruk village. The path is full of Rhododendron forest (Best Time to travel is March-May) rugged Mountain landscape. Mardi Himal Base Camp is one of the prominent spot to have the entire Annapurna Range. Maybe in the winter local lodges & Guest House be closed it is still a short and sweet trek.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and trip preparation (1,300m/4,264ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu Full Day Sightseeing & Trek Preparation
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight/ drive.
Day 04: Drive Pokhara to Phedi (40min); trek to Deurali (2100m/6468ft) 4-5hrs
Day 05: Trek from Deurali to Forest camp (2550m/7854ft) 5-6hrs
Day 06: Trek from Forest camp to High camp (3550m/10934ft) 6-7hrs
Day 07: Hike to Mardi Base Camp & back to high camp (4500m/13860ft) 6-7hrs
Day 08: Trek from Mardi Base Camp to Landruk or Forest camp 5-6hrs
Day 09: Trek to Jhinu Hot spring.
Day 10: Trek from Hot spring to Ghandruk (1940m/5975ft) 5-6hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Nayapul then Drive to Pokhara: 6-7 hrs trek and 1.5 hr drive
Day 12: Explore Pokhara; full Day sightseeing with guide or free day on your own (upon your wish/demand)
Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu (200km/5,6hrs) and leisure time
Day 14: Rest day.
Day 15: Final departure or extend for extra activities
|Day 01:||Kathmandu Arrival and Trip Preparation (1,300m/4,264ft)
After arriving in TIA; our hospitable representative from Caravana Himalaya will welcome you with garlands and drive you to hotel.
|Day 02:||Kathmandu Full Day Sight Seeing
After the Breakfast, We proceed for Exploring the ancient palaces of Kathmandu valley which are included in World Heritage Sites.
Places to Visit:
· Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple):
The Historical buildings and temples in the area were erected from the time of King Ratna Malla (1484-1520 AD) to Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah (1875-1911 AD) covering the Malla, Shah and Rana period of Nepalese history. The entire palace complex here is named after a monkey god called Hanuman. One can see a huge stone statue of Hanuman painted all red next to the main entrance (the golden gate) of the palace. Hanuman here is regarded as a powerful protector of the entire Durbar Square.
Later, in the Evening Free on your own.
|Day 03:|| Kathmandu to POKHARA by flight/ drive
We will fly you to Pokhara with our guide after having a heartily breakfast and meet rest of the crew members at Pokhara who will join us for the trek. Free day. O/N at Pokhara.
|Day 04:||Drive Pokhara to Phedi (40min); trek to Deurali (2100m/6468ft) 4-5hrs
Today we will start our day by drive from Pokhara to Phedi by car/bus. Then our trek starts walking on steep hills from phedi to Dhampus . We will be following through the stone stairs passing the cultivated fields, forest and settlement. You can enjoy the views of Annapurna Range and Mt.Fish tail. Then we continue our walk to reach Deurali. O/N
|Day 05:||Trek from Deurali to Forest camp (2550m/7854ft) 5-6hrs
This day our walk begins on the plain way for around 1 hour, following through pine forests road stepping steep hills again .the forest is covered with the flower called rhododendron. This day, than we will be packed lunch, cause lack of good restaurant in this place on the way to forest camp. O/N
|Day 06:||Trek from Forest camp to High camp (3550m/10934ft) 6-7hrs
Our walking day continues on walking through Forest camp to High Camp. One can easily enjoy the eye catching views of MT Fishtail between the high camp and low camp there is an place called view point from where snow capped mountai8n and villages like chhomrong village, Ghandruk village, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Fishtail and Flora and fauna can be easily seen .O/N at High Camp.
|Day 07:||Hike to Mardi Base Camp & back to high camp (4500m/13860ft) 6-7hrs
Serving breakfast at high camp and packed lunch to go to Mardi base camp. The full day you will be walking through steep hins, rocky climbs, and high mountain around. You can see Magnificent views of Mardi himal, Annapurna 1st south himchuli, Gangapurna, fishtail at side and we will descend to high camp and O/N
|Day 08:||Trek from Mardi Base Camp to Landruk or Forest camp 5-6hrs
Today, After breakfast the trail will descends us to the place called landruk. The way is just more like walking through downhill, followed by forest. We can enjoy the warm welcome of gurung village in landruk. O/N
|Day 09:||Trek to Jhinu Hot spring.
Early morning, enjoy breakfast then beating the trail towards hot spring. One can enjoy the relaxation enjoyment in hot spring. O/N
|Day 10:||Trek from Hot spring to Ghandruk (1940m/5975ft) 5-6hrs.
After breakfast, the trail leads us to way to Ghandruk gurung village. Also famous as domestic tourism. One enjoys the views of various mountains. Ghandruk is a small town where there is more facilities and many local shops. The trail is steep down for some hours and thereafter should follow the uphill through the stone stairway. O/n
|Day 11:||Trek to Nayapul then Drive to Pokhara: 6-7 hrs trek and 1.5 hr drive
Today is our final day of Trekking or if you are tired and can’t walk there is off road to nayapul where you can get local bus but not so comfortable. According to your choice we move on but you should inform the guide day earlier.
After breakfast we leave beautiful Ghandruk village enjoying the beautiful landscapes, hills, terrace fields, villages on our way to nayapul. Upon reaching nayapul our vehicle will be waiting us and we can relax our feet till then we will drive back to Pokhara

|Day 12:||Explore Pokhara; full Day sightseeing with guide or free day on your own (upon your wish/demand)
Breakfast will be provided on the hotel.
Pokhara also known as the lake city is smaller but one of the most clean city in Nepal. You can relax here by boating in Fewa lake, hike to different places like Sarangkot, World peace pagoda and lot. In pokhara you can also do many adventure activities like rafting/kayaking/paragliding/zipline/bunjee jumping/ultra flight and so on…
One day here is just to relax on your own; roam around the city, super view of snowcapped mountains e.t.c and also there are many places you can explore in pokhara like Seti gorge, Mahendra cave, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave, Tibetian Refugee Camp, Bindabasini Temple and so on…
Overnight at Hotel on BB plan.
|Day 13:||Drive to Kathmandu (200km/5,6hrs) and leisure time
Today we will drive or fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.O/N
|Day 14:||Rest Day
Today is rest day you can enjoy the valley on your own our representative will guide you through exotic places around valley.
|Day 15:||Final departure or extend for extra activities
Your trip to Nepal ends today. If your flight time on the late afternoon or at the evening, you still got some chance to enjoy the last minute shopping time in Thamel.
Our hospitable airport representative will be assisting you up to airport. Or you can add up extra days to explore more of this country or can plan your next visit because Nepal Once is not Enough.
